After December 20th taxes become delinquent. An interest charge of 1% per month and a one time penalty charge of 2% is added. After June 20th taxes become delinquent. An interest charge of 1% per month and a one time penalty charge of 2% is added. After June 20th interest is retroactive to January 1st. Oneida County accepts VISA, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards for payment of property taxes. Please note there is a convenience fee added when using a credit card.
